M.I.V.W 2011, Valkenburg, Holland – Part I

I didn’t plan to go to M.I.V.W, but some people say that unplanned things give more satisfaction. On one of the days, about a week before M.I.V.W something made me check flight tickets. Cheapest option was Ryanair flying to Eindhoven and it was really on the budget! Dublin Meet Up

For a good start, at the beginning of each month, in particular on first Tuesday, Dublin’s VAG enthusiast get together to have a chat and a burger at the nearby Eddie Rocket’s. This month’s meet was held at Omni Shopping Centre so those from the north side of the city could also join in.

When end of the month comes and money flow, for that little while, changes from outbound to inbound, you’d be fixing it straight away making beer your best friend. Preferably a whole crate. Another “stay away from your PC” factor was bank holiday weekend. For most people it means a lot of free time. But for me, it’s been a busy weekend at work.

Does anybody still remember this year’s Dubshed organised by GTINI? Four months ago, VW heads from all across Ireland woke up early to drive to Belfast to a venue called King’s Hall.
