A Mk3 Golf that you probably have never heard of… Rare? Rare as fuck! Number 11 of 18 made – Volkswagen Golf Mk3 GTI COX 420Si 16v. Straight from Japan! Believably one of two in Europe. Now proudly here in Dublin, Ireland. What’s the story?
It was a chilly November morning when I got a text from Mo – let’s shoot the Mk1, she’s ready… Happy days, I thought! I was afraid that we will not be able to do this shoot after we had to cancel our earlier photography plans due to some trouble with Mk1’s clutch. Now she was ready… one of the nicest and lowest Volkswagen Golf Mk1’s in the country. Ireland’s pride! I got excited! Let’ go!
Suddenly, like a 500ml bottle of ice-cold vodka for two, this year’s summer came to an end and with it – the end of the show season has arrived. Finally after months of good weather clouds covered the sky above Wrocław and the heat went away giving a chance to breathe normally just like at home – in Ireland. It was time for the last official meet-up of the closing season.
On the third weekend of July, low cars of all makes have once again gathered in Wrocław for another awesome car show – Czillen am Grillen by WrocLOW – probably the most chilled out event of this year’s show season, as I’ve heard, as I was told. For some reason I seem not too remember it all. This is how good this show was – its 2nd edition at the Partynice Racecourse was absolutely mad and the cars on display were top too. Here’s StanceSyndicate’s favourite four yokes of the show a.k.a #FAP4!
An another great show is coming to Wrocław in Poland this weekend! From tomorrow at the local horse racing racecourse over 200 cars from Poland and Europe will gather for one more top class car event in the capital of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship after last weekend’s Raceism Event 2016. Get ready for the most chilled out event in the show calendar – Czillen am Grillen by WrocLOW in Wrocław a.k.a Breslau!
Last weekend, together with Raceism United we’ve made xPOSED happen – the all new, all makes car show – fresh on the Irish scene. It was a great experience to work on this event and we all hope that everyone had good time last Sunday at the National Show Centre in Swords, Co. Dublin. If not, we’ll be coming back in 2017 with even better show and many more attractions to ensure that you will have top time and will see only the highest quality builds! Our team is already working on improving the event! QUALITY > QUANTITY
Last October, on the first Wednesday of the month a new tradition was born – Steecism, a new monthly meet up for car enthusiasts in Dublin area. After six months, having survived the stormy winter, this invite-only monthly gathering is growing strong and with spring just around the corner, it’s set for success.
It’s the last day of December 2005, I’m cruising in my dropped Tornado Red Golf Mk2 on the covered in snow streets of the City of Opportunities, a virtually seventy thousand inhabitants small post-industrial village in Silesia, south-west Poland. My homeland. Snow is falling, all around me… We just had the real white Christmas, just as the ones that Frank used to know but I’m not listening to any Christmas carols, feck no,
It was a warm November evening, first Wednesday of the month, when we met in Maynooth for the second Steecism – the all new invite-only get-together for Dublin’s petrolheads. All makes and models are welcome… so you are, if you’ll get an invite to our wee clique.
